Gas Protection Membranes

EPS 2000
EPS 2000

Application: EPS 2000 (Rn)(CO²)(CH4)
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas formed by the breakdown of uranium and radium.
Carbon Dioxide is a colourless, odourless gas formed as a by-product of decomposing organic matter.
Methane is a colourless, odourless, flammable gas formed as a by-product of organic material breakdown.

Corden EPS 2000 prevents the transmission of harmful gases and due to the nature of it's construction, the membrane overcomes problems associated with membranes manufactured from post-consumer recycled waste.

The product is used as part of a full Radon/Carbon Dioxide/Methane (CS2/Amber 1) gas protection system and will meet all current legislation

Corden EPS 2000 also acts as a damp proof membrane and can be welded by specialist sub-contractors.

Available in a standard roll size of 4 x 12.5m

The performance of gas membranes is heavily dependent on the quality and design of the installation, resistance to damage after installation and the integrity of the joints (BS 8485)
